Reccer's Notes:This is a soulmate AU that allows for multiple soulmates—romantic, platonic, familial—and I like how the story of Gansey and Ronan and Adam and Noah and Blue reforms around that one small change to their world, the physical marks a soulmate leaves, and the ways their stories change because of it, and all the ways they don't.

Reccer's Notes: The boys have to look after eggs for a class project, but because this is Ronan and Adam their egg hatches. Into a dragon. Ronan's desire for Adam is rich and heady, but the story leaves plenty of room for friendship, too, with the whole crew present and in character, right down to Benedict Eggington Gansey the First. Fun, well-written, and in keeping with the series. Takes place after Blue Lily, Lily Blue.

Adam took a step forward next to him, and Ronan's hand shot out, fingers gripping Adam's sleeve. Being cornered like this made Ronan feel the same way he'd felt trying to get out of the dank cellar – claustrophobic and scared and angry. "Parrish," he hissed, trying to pull Adam back. The girl was a good 20 feet away, but it still felt too close, and being any closer seemed like a decidedly bad idea.

Reccer's Notes: Spooky Halloween fun, filled with love and friendship. Everybody gets a chance to do their thing and the OT5 are out in full force.

Reccer's Notes: In this YA book series, Ronan is canonically attracted to guys while Kavinsky is heavily hinted at being attracted to Ronan. Prokopenko is a minor character whose sexuality is not stated. While this fic is heavier on smut than it is on plot, it portrays all three characters' personalities so well and really digs into the squeamish reality of Ronan and Kavinsky's friendship. Reccer's Notes: This fic provides two very much needed things in this fandom - IC!Gansey and polyamory. The premise is that Gansey's death and resurrection never happened, and therefore he goes on in his life as a "typical" Raven boy and the main five haven't become friends (yet). Then Gansey gets his fortune stolen and ends up befriending (and dating) Adam and Blue. The OT5 follows eventually. The relationships are really well executed and the author rewrote key events of the books (the sacrifice, the Kavinsky plot, etc) in a way that is coherent with the premise and the "spirit" of the canon material. Also, beautifully written. I'd rec this fic to everyone and their mom.
