Written for the Tangled Fic Exchange Round 2 on Tumblr for whoelseknowsaboutme's prompt: this room's going to be my grave. Based on the song "Shalott" by Emilie Autumn.

Reccer's Notes: I love the contrasting emotion in this. Eugene's desperation as he searches for Rapunzel, willing to give everything to find her, compared with Rapunzel's despair since she'd promised Gothel she wouldn't fight back. Without giving too much away, the ending shares the emotional depth and gets me as close to tears as it can. Definitely my favourite Tanged AU story.
