Summary: Sid didn’t introduce himself in the hallway, and he certainly doesn’t assume that people know who he is. So it would only be polite to thank Malkin again, this time more personally.

He could write him a letter. An email? No, a letter.

Reccer's Notes: For the longest time I assumed this was a full-on epistolary fic featuring high school kids (IDEK) so I didn't dare brave the epic length of it, but it turns out it was actually ALL MY FAVORITE THINGS wrapped in a comfy blanket and, like, covered in chocolate sauce.

Which probably doesn't tell you much, so um, let me try and be a little more helpful: It starts off with a hug from a stranger, and then letters exchanged in languages they barely speak, which leads to an inexplicable friendship and tokens exchanged and people moving continents, and then so much domesticity and codependency and cuddling that you'll do nothing but coo at them for hours. It's angst-free for the most part and so very comforting. There's also a lot of pining, lots of protectiveness and a good bit of jealousy. I literally could not have asked for more.
