Theme: Amnesty, Crack Treated Seriously, Trope Subversion and Inversion, (Something) Made Them Do It
Summary: The procedure to break a succubus curse is not overly specific: it requires another person and an orgasm.
No problem, Sam thinks.
Reccer's Notes: This is the kind of fic that proves what fanfiction, as a medium, is capable of. It takes the typical cracky, smutty PWP trope of '(something) made them do it,' and it sits with it, and it doesn't take any easy ways out. But it also exists in reference to its canon, where consent issues are a continual presence, both intentional and sometimes seemingly not so. It works so amazingly well because of this intertextuality, reflecting what's around it without so much casting blame as just... well, reflecting. It's complex and difficult, but is deeply true to its characters, particularly Sam Winchester. Even if you don't typically read Supernatural fic or Wincest (I don't, for the latter), I would still recommend it as a very important and incredibly impactful work of fanfiction.
However, I must make this clear: this fic deals with very heavy subjects. The author tagged it 'Choose Not To Warn' and it means it. The fic is best experienced blind, but please proceed with caution.
