Reccer's Notes: This story is such a wonderful tale of friendship. I did not know anything about the Temeraire series when I read it, but it creates the settings, the culture, and the era so well that I felt like I was reading original fic. Add to that Brad and Ray's growth from boys to men, and the developement of their relationship, this story is just a lovely, full, interesting fic.

Reccer's Notes: I'm not big on crossovers, but I do love fusions. I especially love it when the author takes the plot or the setting of a movie/show and blends it seamlessly with the canon. This is what corilannam does in this fic. It's romantic and touching and exciting and angsty; namely everything the movie failed to be.

It's a modern day AU that I sincerely believe that anyone can enjoy. HIGHLY recommended.

Reccer's Notes: This was hugely popular at the time it was posted (2 years ago), but some newer Merlin fans might not know it. It's a modern AU where Arthur and Merlin maintain their relative social status, but land up in Los Angeles (along with Gwen and Morgana) chasing the Hollywood dream. That's where the Entourage fusion comes in, in all its profane glory. The RPF is more in the playing oneself film cameo vein than fannish RPF, but includes a hilarious Robert Downey Jr. Oh, and a surprisingly sweet romance, given the vulgar yet madcap tone of the story.
