Reccer's Notes: I liked Sam and Lynda's antagonistic relationship on Press Gang, and I easily saw them trading barbs with each other while dating in my head. It shouldn't surprise me that there's so little fic for Sam, let alone Sam and anyone (or Sam/anyone), since her actress (Gabrielle Anwar) left the show (and the UK) after the second season, and yet it does. This is literally the only Sam/Lynda fic I know of in existence (most of the Press Gang fanfic I've found is het). This fic places the two of them on a date, all while trading their usual barbs along the way.
