Reccer's Notes: This is an awesome, gripping story. Rydra's writing style does an excellent job of complementing the story she is telling and setting the mood, the characters are well-written, the plot is exciting, and it feels plausible, like it really could have happened this way if one thing in canon had gone differently.

Reccer's Notes: We don't see much of Irma Pince in canon, but oh, she comes to life here! I love the description of her daily duties (Hogwarts' library being similar to, and yet quite distinct from, libraries with which we may be familiar). I love her ... discussion with Umbridge. And I love the end. Librarians FTW!

Reccer's Notes: The idea that Dana Scully is immortal, first advanced in "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose," and again in "Tithonus," inspired some of the very best fics in this fandom.

From a great distance, she heard Fox Mulder scream.

Dana Scully jerked awake and in the same second knew Mulder hadn't screamed, wasn't dying, his blood wasn't on her hands. Just a dream, another damned dream.

From the first line, Julie Fortune had me hooked. "Fata Morgana" begins as a crime story, then turns quickly into an X-file, but at its core, this is a portrait of Mulder and Scully's partnership: what they mean to one other and how much they each will risk for the other. It also has one of the most erotic non-sex scenes I have ever read, which I don't want to spoil by saying anything more.

Reccer's Notes: This is the sweetest, hottest fic about part-seahorse, part-amphibian people having babies that you will probably ever read. The worldbuilding is neat, the oviposition and belly kink is hot, and best of all, this fic is full of FEELINGS. The "love" tag is extremely appropriate.
