Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters/Pairings: Cameca, 9th Doctor
Rating: Adult
Length: 750 words
Author Links: Amy Wolf
Theme: indigenous characters, character of color, outsider perspective, old fandoms, rare pairings, older characters, minor characters, female characters,
Summary: Cameca wore flowers in her hair every day after the Doctor left.
Reccer's Notes: The First Doctor and Susan and Barbara and Ian had one of their best adventures in a serial called "The Aztecs." As the title suggests, they traveled to the time and place of the Aztecs, and found themselves cut off from the TARDIS with Barbara worshiped as a god accidentally. As they were figuring out how to get to the TARDIS, the Doctor became friends with (and accidentally proposed to) a woman named Cameca. This is her story, after the Doctor and his companions left. Bitter sweet, with an appearance from the 9th Doctor immediately post-Time War, with a gut-punch at the end.
