Summary: Chuck's mind is noisy. So many of his memories of his childhood are of hurricane-fighting machines, thunderous and monumental. Stacker has lived and breathed these incredible weapons for years, but so has Chuck, and unlike Stacker, he hasn't lived and breathed much else.

For a few eternal seconds, Stacker thinks that means the drift will be easy. But then Herc's memories filter through, fossilized in relief against the backdrop of Chuck's clamoring thoughts. Stacker doesn't know if it's his presence that draws them out, but secondhand memories wash over him in a soothing, devastating tide.

Reccer's Notes: Stacker Pentecost lives! And it's a great fic with wonderful character development.
