Summary: Just another story about Jim and Spock getting to know each other, onboard the Enterprise, and occasionally, off.

Reccer's Notes: The title says friendship, but the story contains elements that make the relationship verge on something else—though not quite. I find this to be true with most of

dracofiend's writing. Their style is particularly suited to this relationship, which can be read in so many ways. I always appreciate Draco's precise description, understated humor, and restrained approach to conveying emotions. This author so accurately captures the voices and temperaments of the characters. In this case, Jim is immature and funny, and doesn't want to admit feelings. Spock is tolerant and reserved and doesn't want to admit feelings. Bonus: the other crew members appear and do their awesome thing.
