Summary: The English major at home.

Reccer's Notes: This story is told from the pov of Kaleb, Rodney's brother-in-law. We see Kaleb first as a devoted father, then interacting with some difficulty with Rodney, when he comes to visit. Things go badly awry and Kaleb feels he's a failure for not being brave in a crisis, but Jeannie talks it through with him. The characterisation is marvellous and we see Rodney, and his team, through a new lens. The legend of the Green Knight is woven in as a metaphor, and it's complex, layered, and an excellent read.
